MasterSmith is now V7

19th October 2026
After reading some of the responses, MasterSmith has grown hence Version 7. The following is what’s been done.
MasterSmith v7 — more control, and now you can hear and see the difference.

MasterSmith prepares your audio for vinyl, CD and digital release. This upgrade adds:

🎛️ Adjustable settings — choose your loudness target and maximum peak level, control bass width, reduce unwanted low or high frequencies, and select output quality. Keep the automatic settings or apply your own.

🎧 A/B listening — compare the original with a processed preview before exporting. Optional loudness matching helps you judge the sound without louder automatically seeming better.

📊 Waveforms and playback meters — see both versions on the same scale, follow playback and click to jump to another point.

💾 Save your settings — keep favourite setups and reload them for another project.

❓ Plain-English help — explanations beside the controls, plus a preview message explaining when peak protection prevents your requested loudness.

🌍 Five interface languages — English, German, Spanish, French and Italian.

💻 Improved screen layout — fits smaller screens, including laptops using enlarged text.

Audio processing runs locally on your computer.

Your music. Your settings. George remains in Quality Control. 😸
